Player Identity Guide

Archetypes & Rare Titles

Every profile has one identity line. Most players carry an archetype pulled from official regular-season rate stats. Rare titles are live all-time crowns that replace the headline when a player leads the league in that category.

How It Works

Archetypes unlock after 10 official regular-season games. Showcase games, playoffs, and forfeits do not count.

Position picks the lane. Goals, assists, passes, interceptions, saves, and clean-sheet rate decide the label inside that lane.

Elite labels mark top-end specialists or complete profiles. Core labels show a repeatable style.Developing labels mean the player has not locked into a stronger profile yet.

Rare titles are separate. Each one has a single live holder. When a player owns one, it becomes the main identity and the base archetype stays as supporting context.

The names describe style, not rank. Two great players can land in different buckets if they bend matches in different ways.

Position Guide

Common label families, not every fallback name.
Striker

Forward labels separate pure scorers, link-up threats, and work-rate 9s.

Pure scorers
These labels trigger when finishing is the clear headline.
Ice Veins, Poacher, Net Breaker, Closer
Link-up threats
Creation and combination play matter almost as much as scoring.
Apex Forward, Phantom 9, Second Blade, Connector
Work-rate 9s
Defensive activity, duels, and utility show up more heavily here.
Hound, Spearhead, Wall Nine, Power 9
CAM / Midfield

Midfield labels balance creation, scoring threat, passing tempo, and defensive work.

Creators
Assist volume and possession control drive these labels.
Maestro, Puppet Master, Playmaker, Chance Artist
Attacking mids
These mids tilt the profile toward direct scoring pressure.
Trequartista, Shadow Striker, Line Breaker, Late Runner
Two-way mids
They impact both phases instead of leaning all the way into one.
Box-to-Box, Ball-Winner, Harrier, Rhythm Setter
CDM

CDM labels mostly sort ball-winners from controllers.

Ball winners
Interceptions and control at the point of attack drive this group.
Midfield General, Destroyer, Anchor, Enforcer
Distributors
These pivots set tempo and move the ball cleanly.
Deep Playmaker, Quarterback, Progressor
Balanced floor
The middle ground: sturdy, useful, and generally everywhere.
Engine, Interceptor, Shield
Defense

Defender labels split pure stoppers from distributors and hybrids.

Defensive specialists
Interceptions and shut-down defending lead the way.
Apex Defender, Sweeper, Stopper, Lockdown CB
Ball-players
These defenders help start attacks instead of only ending them.
Quarterback CB, Libero, Progressor CB, Distributor CB
Reliable floor
Solid defenders with fewer extreme spikes but real repeatable value.
Field Marshal, Ironback, Sentinel, Backbone
Goalkeeper

Keeper labels combine saves, clean sheets, and how active the keeper is outside the box.

Shot stoppers
Save volume is the main separator.
Apex Keeper, Shot Stopper, Safe Hands, Calm Hands
Clean-sheet keepers
These profiles win by keeping the line clean over time.
Brick Wall, Shutout Keeper, Clean Keeper
Active keepers
They influence the game with range, reads, and organization.
Sweeper Keeper, Area Commander, Front-Foot Keeper, Backline Marshal
